Participants are assigned using simple randomization via the RAND function in Microsoft Excel; initially, each participant is assigned an identification code and sorted based on a random number, after which they are divided into two groups of 15.
Settings and conduct
This research will use a field experimental research method and an extensive pre-test and post-test design. The research will be conducted in an elementary school in Izeh. All participants, instructors, and evaluators who interpret the data, and all information will be kept confidential and participants will be given pseudonyms.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion Criteria Aged 8 to 9 years old. The participants and their parents must consent to participate in the research. Exclusion Criteria Having a physical illness that interferes with the treatment process. Use of psychiatric medications.
Intervention groups
Intervention group: The intervention is a group-based group exercise program based on the protocol of Mohammadzadeh and Zare-e-Mirakabad (1403) in 8 60-minute sessions. Control group: They do not receive any intervention.

Randomization (investigator's opinion)
Randomized
Randomization description
In this study, simple randomization was used to assign participants to experimental and control groups. First, each of the 30 eligible participants was assigned a unique numerical identification code, and a random number was generated for each code using random number generator software. Subsequently, the participants were sorted in ascending order based on their random number values; the first 15 individuals were assigned to the experimental group (participating in role-playing-based group movement games involving leadership roles), and the remaining 15 were assigned to the control group.
Blinding (investigator's opinion)
Double blinded
Blinding description
In order to control bias and improve the internal validity of the study, this study was designed with a double-blind protocol; in this way, the intervention instructors and facilitators, the outcome assessor (measuring social interest and leadership ability), and the data analyst will be kept unaware of the allocation of 8- to 9-year-old children to the experimental and control groups. In this process, the outcome assessor will collect data at all stages of the pretest, posttest, and follow-up, without knowing the assigned group of the participants, in order to prevent bias in the assessment; also, all raw data will be provided to the statistical analyst with anonymous codes (such as groups 1 and 2), and the true nature of the groups will not be revealed until the end of the data analysis process. All allocation steps will be performed by an individual independent of the research team, and the decoding of the allocation codes will be done only after the final completion of the statistical analyses.

Intervention groups

1

Description
Intervention group: The group movement games practice program sessions will be based on leadership role-playing based on the protocol designed by Mohammadzadeh and Zare Mirkabad (1403). The sessions of this intervention will be conducted in 8 60-minute sessions (one session per week) in a group for the experimental group. The group movement games practice program is an approach that aims to promote social interest and strengthen leadership abilities through active and guided participation in physical and interactive activities, helping children to improve their communication, problem-solving, and team decision-making skills by playing structured roles and practicing responsibility. This approach has main educational and skill axes in the form of eight sessions, which are: facilitating group cohesion and familiarization with the structure through ice-breaking movement games with a focus on the facilitator's role to strengthen cooperation and responsibility (first session); Practicing order and managing the flow of movement through a treasure hunt game in the exploration phase, focusing on the role of the observer and path leader to promote initiative and cooperation (session two); Strengthening strategic planning and division of labor by building creative team structures with a focus on the role of the planner to improve problem solving and influence (session three); Practicing decision-making in changing conditions through time-limited movement maneuvers and overcoming obstacles with a focus on the role of the group leader to foster initiative and problem solving (session four); Developing emotional intelligence and understanding the roles of others through designing a stage play based on a hypothetical scenario with a focus on the role of the actor/role-maker to foster cooperation and responsibility (session five); Managing conflict and problem solving in a group through performing a challenging stage play with a focus on the role of the facilitator and conflict resolver to promote problem solving and influence (session six); Consolidating leadership skills in complex situations through a final stage treasure hunt by combining intellectual and motor challenges with a focus on the role of the strategic leader to enhance initiative and influence (session seven); And finally, the final assessment, integration, and consolidation of group management ability through the design and implementation of the game by the children themselves, playing the role of full management to measure and improve all aspects of leadership (session eight). The main emphasis of this training program is to reduce individual behaviors lacking interaction and replace them with collaborative behaviors, acceptance of group responsibility, and effective guidance of team activities based on a sense of social interest and leadership capabilities.
