    In this double-blind, randomized clinical trial, 112 healthy newborns with physiologic jaundice were equally divided into two groups receiving zinc and placebo. Each day, 10 mg of zinc (5 cc of syrup) was administered to the case group and also 5 cc of placebo was administered to the control group and the total bilirubin levels of the second, third, fourth and fifth day and duration of hospitalization and phototherapy were compared.     در این کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی شده دوسوکور 112 نوزاد ترم دارای زردی فیزیولوژیک بستری در بیمارستان آیت اله موسوی زنجان به طور مساوی در دو گروه روی و پلاسبو قرار گرفتند و روزانه تا 5 روز 10 میلی گرم روی (5 سی سی از شربت) برای گروه روی و 5 سی سی از پلاسبو برای گروه کنترل تجویز شد و سطح بیلیروبین های توتال روزهای دوم تا پنجم و مدت فتوتراپی در آنها مقایسه شد. افراد کورسازی شده: شرکت کننده-ارائه دهنده خدمت
    Inclusion criteria: term infants; breast-feeding; jaundice; photo-therapy; serum bilirubin 15-20 mg / dL; age of 3 to 7 days; using no other drug. Exclusion criteria: recent weight loss; infection; hemolytic disease; oral intolerance; congenital birth defects; gastrointestinal anomalies; parental dissatisfaction for participation in the study; need for ventilators; need for blood transfusion

    Population studied: three to seven days old babies with Hyperbilirubinemia admitted to the neonatal ward of Ayatollah Mousavi Hospital in Zanjan. Sample size: 112 people Case study: prescribing Zinc and placebo syrup with a similar amount in three days in the case group and control group and measuring serum bilirubin in every three days. Time of intervention: no restrictions
    Intervention group: Patients in the intervention group will receive 5 mg zinc (2.5 ml) of 10 mg per 5 ml Zinc Sulfate syrup produced by Donya-ye-Behdasht company twice a day from admission day until discharging from hospital. Control group: Patients in the control group will receive 2.5 ml of placebo syrup twice a day from admission day until discharging from hospital, which producted in the Faculty of Pharmacy, Zanjan University of Medical Sciences, completely similar to the main drug.
    جمعیت مورد مطالعه: نوزادان 7-3 روزه دارای هایپربیلیروبینمی بستری در بخش نوزادان بیمارستان آیت الله موسوی زنجان حجم نمونه: 112 نفر مداخله مورد مطالعه: دریافت شربت زینک و پلاسبو با مقدار تعیین شده طی سه روز به گروه های کیس و کنترل و اندازه گیری بیلیروبین خون در هر سه روز زمان مداخله: محدودیتی ندارد
    گروه مداخله: بیماران در گروه مداخله روزانه دو نوبت و هر بار 5 میلی گرم روی (2.5 میلی لیتر) از شربت روی سولفات 10 میلی گرم در 5 میلی لیتر ساخت شرکت دنیای بهداشت را از روز اول بستری تا روز ترخیص از بیمارستان دریافت می کنند. گروه کنترل: بیماران در گروه کنترل روزانه دو نوبت و هر بار 2.5 میلی لیتر از پلاسبو که کاملا مشابه داروی اصلی در دانشکده داروسازی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی زنجان ساخته شده است را از روز اول بستری تا روز ترخیص از بیمارستان دریافت می کنند.

    Block randomization
    Block randomization is done. Patients are randomly assigned to one of the two intervention and placebo groups. The randomization unit is individual. Random number table is used. The random number table contains numbers from 1 to 112 in and we will read these numbers from up to down and we will write the succession. Then we will give Zinc sulfate to numbers 1 to 56 and Placebo to numbers 57 to 112. Then for hiding the sequence we will use sealed, opaque envelopes. Every one who will enter our study will choose one envelope which has one number of the random number table in it and his group will be defined.

    تصادفی سازی بلوک انجام می شود. بیماران به صورت تصادفی در یکی از دو گروه مداخله و پلاسبو قرار می گیرند. واحد تصادفی سازی به صورت فردی است. از جدول اعداد تصادفی استفاده می شود. جدول شامل اعداد 1 تا 112 می باشد و از بالا به پایین خوانده می شود و توالی اعداد نوشته می شود. سپس برای اعداد 1 تا 56 زینک سولفات و برای اعداد 57 تا 112 پلاسبو در نظر گرفته می شود و توالی تصادفی بدین صورت نوشته می شود. سپس برای پنهان سازی توالی از روش پاکت های نامه غیر شفاف مهر و موم شده استفاده می شود و هر فردی که شرایط ورود به مطالعه را داشت هنگام ورود یک پاکت که حاوی یک عدد از جدول است را برمی دارد و گروه وی مشخص می گردد.
    Blinded people: Participant, Care provider
    drug packs are marked by the main investigator with two signs A or B. Medication packs are delivered to the care provider with signs A or B. The care provider and the participant are unaware of the contents of the A or B envelopes. After the end of the study, specific intervention of each patient would be explained to him. A contains zinc sulfate and B contains placebo.

    پاکت های دارو توسط محقق اصلی با دو علامت A یا B علامتگذاری می شوند. پاکت های دارو با نشانه های A یا B به ارائه دهنده مراقبت تحویل می شوند. ارائه دهنده مراقبت و شرکت کننده از محتوای پاکت های A یا B اطلاع ندارند. پس از پایان تحقیق در مورد درمان اختصاصی هر فرد به او توضیح داده خواهد شد. پاکت A حاوی زینک سولفات و پاکت B محتوی پلاسبو می باشد.

Intervention groups
