Protocol summary
The main aim of this study is to check the effect of camel milk on glomerular filtration rate in chronic kidney disease. This study is a randomized clinical trial on patients with chronic kidney disease aged 15 to 60 years. Patients with chronic kidney disease concomitant uncontrolled diabetes or hypertension, cancer patients, patients with urinary obstruction, the fifth stage of chronic kidney disease , patients with acute infection and feverish, patients who are taking nephrotoxic drugs, patients with heart failure, liver failure, polycystic kidney, patients who had kidney transplant and … are excluded. The total number of 60 patients is taken into account that randomly will be divided into two groups: intervention and control .The control group will receive only routine treatment. The intervention group will receive 400 ml camel milk daily for three months in addition to routine treatment. The study period is three months. The main outcome measure of the study is glomerular filtration rate and related consequences outcome are serum creatinine, serum albumin, urinary albumin ,
serum sodium and potassium ,blood uric acid, lipid profile, HbA1c, FBS, blood pressure, The 24 hours urine protein that are measured at the beginning of the study, middle of the study and the end of the study. Serum alkaline phosphatase, serum PTH, calcium, CRP, Hb, kidneys Size are related consequences outcome that are measured at the beginning and the end of the study.

هدف اصلی این مطالعه بررسی اثر شير شتر برمیزان فیلتراسیون گلومرولی در بيماري مزمن كليه است. این مطالعه از نوع کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی می باشد که بر روی افراد مبتلا به بيماري مزمن كليه در محدوده سنی 15 تا 60 سال انجام می شود. بیماران مبتلا به بيماري مزمن كليه ( CKD) همراه با ديابت یا فشارخون كنترل نشده، بيماران مبتلا به كانسر، بيماران دچار انسداد ادراري، بيماري مزمن كليه در مرحله 5، بیماران با عفونت حاد و تب دار، بيماراني كه داروهای نفروتوکسیک مصرف مي كنند، بیماران دچار نارسایی قلبی و عروقی، بیماران با نارسایی کبدی، بیماران با کلیه پلی کیستیک، بیمارانی که پیوند کلیه شده اندو...از مطالعه خارج می شوند. تعداد کل بیماران 60 نفر در نظر گرفتهشده که بصورت تصادفی به دو گروه مساوی مداخله و کنترل تقسیم خواهند شد گروه کنترل درمان هاي معمول را دریافت خواهند کرد. گروه مداخله علاوه بر درمان هاي معمول شيرشتر را بمدت سه ماه روزانه 400 سي سي دريافت خواهند داشت. مدت مطالعه سه ماه است پیامد قابل اندازه گیری اصلی تحقیق میزان فیلتراسیون گلومرولی و سایر پیامدهای آن شامل کراتینین سرم، آلبومین سرم، آلبومین ادرار،
پتاسیم و سدیم سرم، اسید اوریک خون، پروفایل چربی، HbA1C ، قند خون ناشتا، فشار خون، پروتئین ادرار 24 ساعته می باشد که در ابتدا، وسط و پایان مطالعه اندازه گیری میشوند و PTH سرم، آلکالن فسفاتاز سرم، کلسیم سرم، CRP سرم، هموگلوبین، سایز کلیه ها از سایر پیامدها هستند که در ابتدا وانتهای مطالعه اندازه گیری می شوند.

Study aim
Evaluation of the effect of Camel milk with Alhagi maurorum Medik on Chronic Kidney Disease
Design
This study is a randomized clinical trial
Settings and conduct
The total number of 60 patients is taken into account that randomly will be divided into two groups: intervention and control .The control group will receive only routine treatment. The intervention group will receive 400 ml camel milk and syrup 40% of Alhagi maurorum Medik will receive 10 cc per day. The study period is three months .
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
patients with chronic kidney disease at Stage 2-4 with aged 15 to 60 years enter the study.
Patients with chronic kidney disease concomitant uncontrolled diabetes or hypertension, cancer patients, patients with urinary obstruction, the fifth stage of chronic kidney disease , patients with acute infection and feverish, patients who are taking nephrotoxic drugs, patients with heart failure, liver failure, poly cystic kidney, patients who had kidney transplant are excluded.
Intervention groups
Intervention group: patients with Chronic Kidney Disease at Stage 2-4 who take commonly used medicines with camel milk and Alhagi maurorum Medik syrup.
Control group:Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease at Stage 2-4 who take commonly used medicines.
