Of the obese women referring to the Imam Ali Clinic in Yazd, 24 people will be selected and randomly divided into two groups. The participants and investigator will not be aware of the drugs and placebo. The amount of genes expression in the abdominal fat tissue will be measured at the end of each stage of the intervention by the next generation sequencing (NGS) method. Intervention is crossover and is performed in two stages of 8 weeks.
Of the obese women referring to the Imam Ali Clinic in Yazd, 40 people will be selected and randomly divided into two groups. The participants and investigator will not be aware of the drugs and placebo. The amount of genes expression in PBMC will be measured before and after the end of each stage of the intervention. Intervention is crossover and is performed in two stages of 8 weeks.

از بین زنان چاق مراجعه کننده به کلینیک امام علی شهر یزد، 24 نفر انتخاب خواهند شد و بصورت تصادفی به دو گروه تقسیم میشوند .محقق و شرکت کنندگان از دارو و دارونما اطلاع نخواهند داشت. میزان بیان ژنها در بافت چربی شکمی در پایان هر مرحله از مداخله به روش NGS اندازه گیری خواهد شد. مداخله متقاطع میباشد و به صورت دو مرحله 8 هفته ای انجام میگیرد.

Blood samples will be taken from all individuals before and after each period of interventions. From 5 people in each group, after the end of each period of the intervention, a subcutaneous adipose tissue sample will be taken from the abdominal region.

Intervention group: People in this group will recieve two 1000 mg capsules of Nigella Sativa daily for 8 weeks. Then it will be wash out period for 1 month, and after that, people will receive 2 placebo capsules daily for 8 weeks.
