    کارآزمایی بالینی دارای گروه کنترل، با گروه های موازی ، دو سویه کور ، تصادفی شده، فاز 3 بر روی 96 بیمار. بیماران به روش تصادفی سازی بلوکی و با استفاده از جدول تصادفی اعداد به دو گروه تقسیم میشوند.
    کارآزمایی بالینی دارای گروه کنترل ، دو سویه کور ، تصادفی شده، بر روی 96 بیمار. بیماران به روش تصادفی سازی با استفاده از اعداد تصادفی به دو گروه تقسیم میشوند.
    Patients are selected from Poostchi clinic and were randomly assigned to two groups: case and control. All patients receive standard treatment for macular diabetic edema (intravenous injection of Bevacizumab and retinal laser) under the supervision of a physician. The therapist has no information about the case and control individuals. In the pharmacy setting, patients on the case group are given garlic tablets at a dose of 1000 mg daily for 4 weeks. The other group is given a placebo in the form of a pill with the same packaging as the Garlic supplement.

    بیماران از درمانگاه پوستچی انتخاب میگردند و به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه کیس و کنترل قرار میگیرند.همه ی بیماران تحت نظر پزشک درمانگر، درمان استاندارد ادم ماکولا دیابتی ( تزریق داخل ویتره بواسیزوماب و لیزر شبکیه) را دریافت می کنند.پزشک درمانگر اطلاعی از افراد کیس و کنترل ندارد.در محیط داروخانه به بیماران گروه کیس قرص سیر با دوز 1000 میلی گرم روزانه به مدت 4 هفته داده می شود و به گروه دیگر دارونما در قالب قرصی مشابه با بسته بندی مشابه مکمل سیر داده می شود.
    بیماران از درمانگاههای دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز انتخاب میگردند و به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه کیس و کنترل قرار میگیرند.همه ی بیماران تحت نظر پزشک درمانگر، درمان استاندارد ادم ماکولا دیابتی ( تزریق داخل ویتره بواسیزوماب یا لیزر شبکیه) را دریافت می کنند.پزشک درمانگر اطلاعی از افراد کیس و کنترل ندارد. به بیماران گروه کیس قرص سیر با دوز 1000 میلی گرم روزانه به مدت 4 هفته (در صورت امکان برای برخی بیماران 2 یا 3 ماه) داده می شود و به گروه دیگر دارونما در قالب قرصی مشابه با بسته بندی مشابه مکمل سیر داده می شود.
    Inclusion criteria: Type 2 diabetic patients with macular edema Exclusion criteria: 1)Oral or intravenous injection of corticosteroids and Immunomodulatory therapy 2)History of vitrectomy surgery 3)Warfarin and Plavix and any blood thinners Consumption 4)History of rheumatic disease, renal failure, chemotherapy and active gastrointestinal ulcers

    شرایط ورود: بیماران دیابتی تیپ 2 دارای ماکولار ادما شرایط عدم ورود: 1)مصرف خوراکی یا تزریق داخل ویتره کورتون و داروهای تنظیم کننده سیستم ایمنی 2)سابقه جراحی ویترکتومی 3)مصرف وارفارین و پلاویکس و هر گونه داروی رقیق کننده خون 4)سابقه بیماری روماتیسمی و نارسایی کلیه و کموتراپی و زخم فعال دستگاه گوارش

    Intervention group: Patients in the intervention group receive Garlic tablet with a dose of 1000 mg daily for 1 month. (from the pharmaceutical company Garsin that containing the active ingredient allin and allicin) for 1 month. Control group: Patients in the control group receive placebo tablet daily for 1 month. After 1 month, the best corrected visual acuity and optical coherence tomography is performed and macula thickness is measured in both group.
    Intervention group: Patients receive Garlic tablet with a dose of 1000 mg daily Control group: Patients in the control group receive placebo tablet daily. After 1 month, the best corrected visual acuity and optical coherence tomography is performed and macula thickness is measured in both groups. Treatment duration: 1 months (if possible for some patients 2 or 3 months).
    گروه مداخله: به بیماران گروه مداخله قرص سیر با دوز 1000 میلی گرم (از شرکت دارویی گارسین و دارای ماده موثره آلیین و آلیسین) روزانه به مدت 1 ماه داده می شود. گروه کنترل: به بیماران گروه کنترل قرص پلاسبو روزانه به مدت 1 ماه داده می شود. بعد از گذشت 1 ماه در هر دو گروه بهترین حدت بینایی تصحیح شده و توموگرافی انسجام نوری انجام شده و ضخامت ماکولا اندازه گیری میشود.
    گروه مداخله: به بیماران گروه مداخله قرص سیر با دوز 1000 میلی گرم روزانه داده می شود. گروه کنترل: به بیماران گروه کنترل قرص پلاسبو روزانه داده می شود. بعد از گذشت 1 ماه در هر دو گروه بهترین حدت بینایی تصحیح شده و توموگرافی انسجام نوری انجام شده و ضخامت ماکولا اندازه گیری میشود. مدت زمان در گروه مداخله و کنترل 1 ماه (در صورت امکان برای برخی بیماران 2 یا 3 ماه) می باشد.

    Patients are divided into two groups by blocked randomization method and using a random number tables. In this test, patients are divided into 12 blocks which contain 8 patient based on random numbers.Then the blocks are divided into two groups based on a random table of numbers. For using random number table, first we should pre-determine the direction of reading the numbers. For example up, down, left and right. Then we have to consider the numbers for different groups. Then we chose one number and follow the pre-specified direction and record the numbers and allocate to different groups.
    In each clinic a random number (for example between 0-1) is produced by calculator or computer for each patient and if this number is lower than a limit number ( for example 0.5) that patient is selected as a case and if upper as a control or viceversa. Or : A number is allocated to each patient .Random numbers( equal to number of case or control group) produced by using calculator or computer .Patients are divided into two groups by using random numbers.
    بیماران به روش تصادفی سازی بلوکی و با استفاده از جدول تصادفی اعداد به دو گروه تقسیم میشوند. در این ﻛﺎرآزﻣﺎﻳﻲ بیماران بر اساس جدواتصادفی اعداد به 12 ﺑﻠﻮك 8 ﺗﺎﻳﻲ تقسیم میشوند.سپس مجدد بر اساس جدول تصادفی اعداد بلوک ها به 2 گروه تقسیم میشوند. ﺟﻬـﺖ اﺳـﺘﻔﺎده از ﺟـﺪول اﻋﺪاد ﺗﺼﺎدﻓﻲ اﺑﺘﺪا ﺑﺎﻳﺪ ﺟﻬﺖ ﺧﻮاﻧﺪن اﻋﺪاد ﺟﺪول را از پیش تعیین کنیم. مثلا ﺑﺎﻻ، ﭘﺎﻳﻴﻦ، ﭼﭗ و ﻳﺎ راﺳﺖ.سپس باید اعداد را برای گروه های مختلف در نظر بگیریم. سپس روی ﻳﻜﻲ از اﻋﺪاد دﺳﺖﻣﻲ ﮔﺬاریم و در ﻳﻜﻲ از ﺟﻬﺎت از ﭘﻴﺶ ﺗﻌﻴﻴﻦ ﺷﺪه ﺣﺮﻛﺖ ﻛﺮده و اﻋﺪاد را ﺛﺒﺖ و ﺑﻪ ﮔﺮوه های مختلف تخصیص میدهیم.
    برای اختصاص بیماران به گروه مداخله و کنترل از روش تصادفی سازی ساده استفاده میگردد .به این ترتیب در هر نوبت درمانگاه عدد تصادفی ( مثلا بین صفر و یک) توسط ماشین حساب یا کامپیوتر تولید و به هر یک از بیماران اختصاص می یابد اگر عدد تولید شده کمتر از یک عدد مشخص (مثلا 0.5)باشد فرد به گروه کنترل واگر بیشتر شد به گروه مداخله اختصاص میابد یا بالعکس. و یا بیماران شماره گذاری میشوند و سپس با استفاده از ماشین حساب یا کامپیوتر تعدادی عدد تصادفی ( به تعداد گروه مورد یا شاهد) تولید میشود وبدین ترتیب ییماران به روش تصادفی سازی با استفاده از اعداد تصادفی به دو گروه تقسیم میشوند.

    Intervention group: A complete examination of the anterior and posterior segments is performed for patients in this group. and the best corrected visual acuity is measured based on the Snellen chart, and optical coherence tomography is done for all the patients. All patients receive standard treatment for macular diabetic edema (intravenous injection of Boasizumab and retinal laser). Patients in the intervention group receive Garlic tablet with a dose of 1000 mg daily with lunch for 1 month. (from the pharmaceutical company Garsin that containing the active ingredient allin and allicin) daily with lunch for 1 month.After 1 month, the best corrected visual acuity and optical coherence tomography is performed and macula thickness is measured.

Protocol summary

Study aim
Determination the effect of Garlic tablet as a complementary treatment of macular edema in diabetic retinopathy patients compared with placebo.
Design
Clinical trial with control group, double-blind, randomized, on 96 patients Patients are divided into two groups by using a random numbers .
Settings and conduct
Patients are selected from Shiraz clinics and were randomly assigned to two groups: case and control. All patients receive standard treatment for macular diabetic edema (intravenous injection of Bevacizumab or retinal laser) under the supervision of a physician. The therapist has no information about the case and control individuals. patients on the case group are given garlic tablets at a dose of 1000 mg daily for 4 weeks (2or 3 months if possible for some patients). The other group is given a placebo in the form of a pill with the same packaging as the Garlic supplement.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: diabetic patients with macular edema Exclusion criteria: 1) Oral or intravenous injection of corticosteroids and Immunomodulatory therapy 2) History of vitrectomy surgery 3) Warfarin and Plavix and Heparin 4) History of chemotherapy and active gastrointestinal ulcers
Intervention groups
Intervention group: Patients receive Garlic tablet with a dose of 1000 mg daily Control group: Patients in the control group receive placebo tablet daily. After 1 month, the best corrected visual acuity and optical coherence tomography is performed and macula thickness is measured in both groups. Treatment duration: 1 months (if possible for some patients 2 or 3 months).

In each clinic a random number (for example between 0-1) is produced by calculator or computer for each patient and if this number is lower than a limit number ( for example 0.5) that patient is selected as a case and if upper as a control or viceversa. Or : A number is allocated to each patient .Random numbers( equal to number of case or control group) produced by using calculator or computer .Patients are divided into two groups by using random numbers.
