Study aim
Determining effect of biography intervention on the ageism among nurses of coronary care unit
Design
A clinical trial with a control group, with parallel groups without blinding, designed on 62 nurses, randomized, used for randomization by lottery.
Settings and conduct
The CCU wards of Imam Reza and Ghaem hospitals in Mashhad. Nurses and the elderly will be evaluated based on inclusion criteria and after describing the intervention and obtaining informed consent, the concept of ageism will be taught in both groups and biographical intervention will be performed in the intervention group. The tool used is "The Ageism Scale in Hospital Care" which is completed by nurses before and after the intervention.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
• Inclusion criteria for the elderly include age over 60, Consent to publish their biographical information among the CCU care team, Getting a score higher than 8 in AMT short cognitive test, Inclusion criteria include at least 6 months of work experience, Have at least a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Intervention groups
The intervention and control group of nurses will be trained about the concept of ageism during a face-to-face training session. The researcher then obtains their biographical information through one or two semi-structured interview sessions with the selected elderly. Then, in order to obtain written consent for the publication of information between the care team, it will provide it to the elderly or first-degree caregivers. Finally, the recorded information will be provided daily to the nurses intervention group, who caregiving of elderly for 6 weeks. In the control group, nurses similar to the intervention group will participate in a training session about the concept of ageism. However, during the intervention, they provide only usual ward care to the elderly.

Inclusion criteria:

Ability to speak Persian Lack of deafness. Exclusion criteria:
The exit criteria of the elderly include unwillingness to cooperate with the researcher at any stage of the research. Deprivation of consent to publish information. Changes in cognitive status and alertness during interviews Patient transfer from the study department Elderly death unstable hemodynamic conditions Nurses' exit parameters include unwillingness to cooperate with the researcher at any stage of the research. Failure to provide nursing care to at least 5 elderly people within 6 weeks. Failure to participate in the training program Transferring the workplace from the CCU department during the study.

Description
Intervention group: At first, The Ageism Scale in Hospital Care is completed by nurses. Teaching the concept of ageism and positive aging and the facts of aging along with a positive pattern of aging for nurses will be explained by the researcher. Then, a biographical intervention will be performed and the biographical information of the elderly hospitalized will be provided to the nurses in writing on a daily basis. This process will continue for 6 weeks. Finally, after the intervention, the nurses of both groups will complete The Ageism Scale in Hospital Care again.
